ALLOW PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED INSPECTION

Pittsburgh, PA – An alert for motorists who travel across the Swinburne Bridge. The bridge which carries Frazier Street over Saline Street, in the City of Pittsburgh’s South Oakland neighborhood will be closed from 9am to 3pm on Friday, November 15th in order to facilitate the second portion of a previously scheduled routine inspection on the bridge.

During the closure, motorists should avoid the area.  The suggested detour route is via Greenfield Avenue, Second Avenue, Bates Street, and Boulevard of the Allies. This time slot was selected specifically, in order to allow rush-hour traffic to be able to cross the bridge.
