Keep Pittsburgh Home: Housing for People, Not for Profit 

WHO: Mayor Ed Gainey, Councilman Khari Mosley, Wayne Younger and housing advocates 

WHAT: Press event highlighting Open Hand Ministries' Garfield housing development, made possible through the activation of the Pittsburgh Land Bank. 

WHEN: Friday, February 21st at 11:00 AM 

WHERE: Open Hand Ministries Property, 5356 Hillcrest Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15224 

WHY: To launch the Keep Pittsburgh Home campaign by showcasing successful strategies to fund affordable housing, activate city-owned land, and ensure affordability in new developments. This event will also celebrate the impact of the Pittsburgh Land Bank in supporting community-driven housing development and emphasize the urgent need for policies to curb rental speculation and corporate land grabs that are driving up housing costs and limiting access to stable, affordable housing for Pittsburgh residents.
