City of Pittsburgh Hosts “Art on Braddock” on May 16
Pittsburgh, PA – The Department of Parks & Recreation (CitiParks) is pleased to introduce “Art on Braddock,” a new market-style event that will offer an opportunity for the community to connect with and celebrate local arts, happening on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The event will run from 10 AM – 2 PM and is free to enter.
“Art on Braddock” will provide visibility and financial avenues for artists, creators, and local chefs. As a collaboration between the department’s Office of Special Events and Farmers Markets, the event will transform Frick Park and Regent Square into a lively hub of creativity. A variety of vendor booths will line the park at the corner of Forbes and Braddock Avenues, where attendees will have the opportunity to interact with artists and sample culinary options.
“This event will celebrate Pittsburgh through creativity and community,” said CitiParks Director Eric Sloan. “We’re excited to bring to life a new and vibrant space where we can uplift local artists, makers and growers, connecting them with both their neighbors and financial opportunity.”
Visitors to the market space can expect a wide array of offerings, including sweets, savories and refreshments from food and beverage vendors along with painted acrylic and watercolor pieces, woodworks, and handmade body care products from local artists and craftspeople.
This event is made possible with support from the Allegheny Regional Asset District.
