CitiParks Warming Centers Activated for Sunday, December 14, 2025

Pittsburgh, PA – CitiParks will activate five Healthy Active Living Centers as warming centers on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 12 PM to 6 PM, as Pittsburgh prepares for an Arctic blast, with the forecast predicting a high of near 20 degrees. 

The following centers will be open as warming stations: 

  • Beechview Healthy Active Living Community Center | 1555 Broadway Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 
  • Greenfield Healthy Active Living Community Center | 745 Greenfield Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 
  • Homewood Healthy Active Living Community Center | 7321 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15208 
  • Sheraden Healthy Active Living Community Center | 720 Sherwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15204 
  • South Side Market House Healthy Active Living Community Center | 12th & Bingham Streets, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 

Additionally, our five Senior Centers are open from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. 

ALL are welcome! 

Note: CitiParks and the City of Pittsburgh typically activate warming centers when the forecasted highs are predicted to be 20 degrees or lower.
