UPDATE: Karl Hough, 62 of Pittsburgh, faces multiple charges in relation to this incident. Those include: two felony counts of robbery and theft by unlawful taking, aggravated assault, and conspiracy. Additionally, Hough faces misdemeanor charges for theft by unlawful taking and carrying firearms without a license. Detectives are continuing to lead an active and ongoing investigation.

At approximately 10:00 a.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 5 officers responded to the 600 block of South Millvale Avenue in the Bloomfield neighborhood for a reported armed robbery.
Preliminary information indicates two armed adult men forced entry into a bar establishment and demanded money from employees. During the incident, one victim was assaulted and sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment. The actors fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene. Officers are reviewing video surveillance footage from the area.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are leading an active and ongoing investigation.
