Police Search for Driver in Hit & Run of Motorcycle, Two Injured

Collision Investigation Unit detectives are seeking the public's help in finding the driver involved in a hit and run incident in Spring Garden Just after 10 p.m., on October 1, 2026 Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1, EMS, and Fire responded to a reported collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle in the 800 block of Spring Garden Avenue.

First responders located the male motorcycle driver and his female passenger, both of whom were transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Detectives are now searching for a black 2026 Hyundai Elantra, with the new design PA plate, NGD4703. The vehicle will be missing a front bumper and a right headlight. The vehicle was last seen headed south on Brownsville Road, turning onto Sankey Avenue after the collision.
