At approximately 9:45 p.m., a 28-year-old male arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. He was reported to be in stable condition.
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to West Cherryhill Street, where the incident is believed to have occurred.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene.
The Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
