Published on April 04, 2025

On Friday, April 4, 2025 officers with the South Side Entertainment Patrol arrested two males following a traffic stop in the area of S.3rd Street.
While speaking with the driver, a firearm was in plain view of officers from under the driver's seat. The driver and passenger were then asked to exit the vehicle, at which time a second firearm with an extended magazine under the passenger seat was also visible to officers.
Neither occupant was legal to carry a firearm.
Officers applied for, and later executed, a search warrant for the vehicle, recovering two Glock pistols, both with extended magazines and live ammunition.
Keith Malizo, 22, was arrested and charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, as well as driving violations.
A 17-year-old male was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property (firearm) and Possession/transport of a Firearm Under 18.
