Just before 4:00 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were called to the 600 block of Kirkpatrick Street in the city’s Middle Hill neighborhood to serve a PFA (Protection From Abuse) order on an adult male who had other active warrants for his arrest.

Residents of that home and other nearby houses were safely evacuated.

The male actor proceeded to barricade himself on the second floor of the residence. SWAT operators were called out and attempted to make contact with the male through multiple hails, but were unsuccessful.

Ultimately, he was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident at 6:17 p.m.

Additional charges are forthcoming.
