Summary:
UPDATE: Pittsburgh Police arrested four individuals during this traffic stop.
Three of them are juveniles who are each charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Minor and Receiving Stolen Property.
They were released to juvenile probation for placement.
Mehki Reed, 19, of Pittsburgh was charged with Person Not to Possess a Firearm.
He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
Any further questions connected to the ongoing federal investigation must be directed to the ATF.

At approximately 9 p.m., Pittsburgh Police Violence Prevention Unit detectives conducted a traffic stop at W. Warrington Avenue and Saw Mill Run Blvd. following a bolo for a White Hyundai Accent whose occupants were believed to be involved in an early morning burglary and theft of 21 firearms from a gun store in Mercer County.
The ATF put out the bolo asking Pittsburgh Police officers to stop and hold the vehicle as part of their investigation. During the traffic stop, VPU detectives observed firearms in plain view inside the vehicle, which was towed for processing. Three individuals were taken into custody and transported to Pittsburgh Police headquarters to be interviewed by ATF agents.
