UPDATE: Shane Phillips, 52, was arrested and is in the Allegheny County Jail facing a number of charges, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, persons not to possess, and carrying a firearm without a license.

Just after 11:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 were dispatched to the intersection of Perrysville Avenue and North Charles Street for reports of shots fired.
Arriving officers located an adult male victim in the 2600 block of Maple Avenue with a gunshot wound to his buttock.
The victim was conscious, alert, and speaking with officers and medics. He was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in stable condition to an area hospital.
Detectives tracked a white Nissan, believed to be involved in the incident, to the 200 block of East Ohio Street. They transported an adult male to Police Headquarters for questioning.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene to process all evidence.
Detectives are continuing to investigate. At this time, there is not believed to be a risk to the public.
