Just before 1:25 a.m., Police responded to Narcissus Ave. and Bergman St. for a multi-round ShotSpotter notification.
An adult male was located in the 600 block of nearby Hillsboro St. with a graze type wound/laceration to the right eye area. He was alert, conscious and speaking with police. He told officers someone got out of a vehicle and shot at him while he was walking his dog and that the vehicle then fled the area.
The male was transported to the hospital in stable condition by medics.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the initial area where shots were fired. They located shell casings and at least one vehicle and some homes with bullet damage.
The investigation is ongoing.
