Just after 11:00 p.m. on March 10, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 were dispatched to the intersection of Wilbur Street and Grogan Avenue for a nine-round ShotSpotter alert.
Arriving officers found a crashed vehicle with multiple bullet holes. They then located an adult male victim in the 200 block of Wilbur Street with a gunshot wound to his pinky finger.
The victim was transported in stable condition to an area hospital.
The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process evidence at the scene.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating and the investigation is ongoing.
