Just after 11 p.m., on February 14, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were called to the Greyhound bus station at 11th and Penn for a reported shooting.
Officers located a male who had gotten off a bus from New York and was trying to get into a waiting vehicle when there was some type of altercation with the occupants, who were not known to him.
The victim was shot in the foot and medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition. The vehicle fled the area and was located unoccupied in Butler. It was towed by the Auto Squad for processing.
Violent Crime Unit detectives spoke with the victim at the hospital and the investigation is ongoing.
