Just before 8:00 p.m. on June 16, 2024, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 were dispatched to the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue in Central Oakland for reports of an in-progress robbery at a local tobacco business.
The employee working during the robbery told officers that an adult male actor entered the store and began placing items into his backpack. When approached by the employee, the actor brandished a knife and continued with the theft.
The actor then fled the store on foot heading toward South Bouquet Street.
Police were able to identify the actor from store surveillance system footage. A short time later, the actor was located a block away and taken into custody without incident.
He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
Paul Miller, 57, is charged with robbery.
