Police, Fire, EMS Respond to Single Vehicle Collision, Four Injured

Summary:

At 6:55 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3, EMS, and Fire were dispatched to Arlington Ave. and Rinne Street for reports of a vehicle into a telephone pole.

First responders located a female patient who had been driving the vehicle. Medic 8 transported her to the hospital in critical condition.

There were three children in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Medic 2 transported a girl in serious, but stable condition with a fractured leg and laceration to her head. Medic 7 transported a girl and a boy in stable condition, both complaining of back and leg pain.

All three children were taken to Children's Hospital. Their ages are not available at this time.

The Collision Investigation Unit was on scene.
