Police Arrest Female Following Shots Fired Incident in Beltzhoover

At approximately 12:50 a.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to a residence in the 300 block of Rochelle Street for someone requesting to file a domestic report and Protection From Abuse (PFA) order.

Officers spoke with a female who said she was fired upon while sitting in her vehicle by a known female when she went to her ex-boyfriend's house in the 500 block of Boggston Avenue. The victim's four-year-old daughter was in the backseat at the time. No one was injured. The victim's vehicle sustained damage from the bullets. The Mobile Crime Unit was notified and detectives processed the vehicle.

The victim also showed officers cellphone video of the incident.

Officers recognized the location and individual from a ShotSpotter call they investigated approximately 10 minutes earlier on Boggston Avenue.

Police returned to the address and arrested Alasa Jones, 28, of Pittsburgh without incident. She's charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and two counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
