Just after 3 p.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire was dispatched to a 1-alarm fire in the area of South Side Riverfront Park for a reported fire along the riverbank.
The Bureau's fireboat responded to find a number of tents on fire and quickly extinguished the flames.
There were no reported injuries and the Fire Investigation Unit is working to determine the cause.
