WINTER EXTENSION DATES ADDED BY SQUIRREL HILL FARMERS MARKET 

Pittsburgh, PA – The Squirrel Hill Farmers Market has added two December dates to the roster for the Squirrel Hill WINTER Farmers Market.  While the regular Farmers Market season ended right before Thanksgiving, CitiParks is excited to present the December Farmers Market just before the year-end holidays! 

Sunday — December 8 & 15, 2024 

10 AM to 1 PM 

Beacon/Bartlett Parking Lot 

“We are excited to have added these two additional Market days,” noted Kathryn Vargas, CitiParks Director.  “They were successful for our vendors last year and it provides a great opportunity ahead of the holidays where Pittsburghers might find that special gift or those fresh products for their holiday festivities.”

All CitiParks Farmers Markets accept food stamps (SNAP), credit and debit cards as part of Just Harvest’s Fresh Access program. SNAP shoppers can get fresh, nutritious and local-grown food, including produce, meat, dairy, bread and baked goods, produce plants, seeds and honey.  (Hot prepared food items, alcohol and non-food items are not eligible for SNAP purchases.)  Food Bucks give Fresh Access food stamp shoppers extra money to spend on fruits and veggies.
