SCHENLEY PARK SKATING RINK TO OPEN FOR THE 2025-26 SEASON
Pittsburgh, PA – Grab your skates and glide into a fun-filled season of ice skating at the Schenley Park Skating Rink, beginning Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The rink will operate seven days a week, offering a full lineup of public skating sessions along with a variety of special themed events throughout the season.
“The Schenley Park Skating Rink is one of Pittsburgh’s most cherished winter attractions, and we’re thrilled to welcome families, friends, and neighbors back for another season,” said CitiParks Director Kathryn Vargas. “Whether you’re joining us for a special themed skate or simply enjoying a day on the ice, we’re looking forward to providing a fun and memorable skating experience for all ages.”
SPECIAL SKATING EVENTS:
- Skate with Santa - Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 1:30-3 PM (Online tickets only)
- Mascot Skate -Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 1:30-3 PM (Online tickets only)
- Disco Night - Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 6-7:30 PM (All Skate) AND 8- 9:30 PM (Adults Only)
- Valentine's On Ice - Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 3 to 5 PM (Family ALL Skate) & 7 to 9 PM (Adults Only 18 +). Brought to you by CitiParks' Office of Special Events -- tickets coming soon! (Online tickets only)
- Family Skate - Thursdays from 6:30-8 PM (One Child Skates Free with a Paying Adult)
Admission to the Schenley Park Skating Rink is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors & veterans (with ID) and $3 for youth (17 years old or younger). Skate Rentals are available for $3/skater. Tuesdays (8:30-10 PM Session), Wednesdays (1:30-3 PM Session) and Sundays (6-7:30 PM Session) College Students can receive a $5 ticket (with ID). Schenley Park Skating Rink accepts credit cards; Google Pay and Apple Pay at the Box Office. Admission tickets are also available on-line HERE
