CITY OF PITTSBURGH TO CELEBRATE COMPLETION OF HOMEWOOD PARK FOOTBALL FIELD 

WHO: Mayor Ed Gainey, Councilman Khari Mosely, DPW Director Chris Hornstein, Homewood Community Sports (HCS) Mubarik Ismaeli, Bridging the Gap Development Derrick Tillman, Heinz Endowments Rob Stephany, and Homewood residents. 

WHAT:  The City of Pittsburgh will host a community celebration and media tour to mark the completion of the new football field at Homewood Park, Willie Stargell Field — a key milestone in the ongoing Homewood Park Improvement Project. This moment represents the halfway point in a transformative effort to revitalize a vital community space and fulfill a long-standing promise to the Homewood neighborhood.  

WHEN: Sunday, October 5 at 8AM - Media Tour followed by a Press Conference at 9AM.
