Department Of Public Works To Remove Xmas Tree And Wreaths From City-County Buidling
Pittsburgh, PA – On Friday, January 2, 2026, the celebration of Pittsburgh’s holiday season will officially come to an end with the removal of the 110th City of Pittsburgh's Christmas tree on the Portico of the City-County Building.
The Department of Public Works Forestry Division advises that there will be closures of Grant Street between Third Avenue and Fifth Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, to allow the Forestry Division to remove and transport the tree and wreathes.
