Schenley Park Skating Rink—it’s not just for Ice Skating anymore! The Schenley Park Skating Rink has been an outdoor treasure since 1975. Now, 50 years later, the skating fun will continue all summer long with Roller Skating!!
Roller Skating takes over Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park Skating Rink for a FIRST ROLL on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 5 PM. Join us as we rock ‘n roll around the rink in historic Schenley Park; continuing the skating FUN all summer long!

- Wednesday 5:00 - 8:30 PM
- Thursday 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Fridays 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 5:00 - 8:30 PM
- Select Sundays (June 1, 8, & 15, July 20 & 27, August 3, 24, & 31) 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 5:00 - 8:30 PM

- Mondays, Tuesdays & Saturdays
- Thursday, June 19th
- Friday, July 4th
- July 18th-July 20th
Public Sessions are Open Skates - join us anytime during the session.

- Adults: $5.00
- Youth: $3.00

Roller Skating Rentals are not currently available. Bring your own Skates (Quad or In-line).
Rink Summer Closures
The Schenley Park Skating Rink will be CLOSED on the following days:
- Thursday, June 19, 2025—Juneteenth Holiday
- Friday, July 4, 2025—Independence Day
- Friday, July 18 – Sunday, July 20, 2025—Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
Rules/Operations Info
- Roller Skating is weather permitting.
- Each session is open skate and the box office closes 15 minutes before the session ends.
- Each session is limited to 200 patrons.
- No outside food or drink. (Water is exception)
- Inline and Quad Skates welcome.
- No exit/re-entry. Once you leave a new admissions ticket must be purchase to return.
- On-line tickets only—Box Office is closed.
