Just before 10:00 p.m., the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and EMS responded to the 3100 block of Ashlynn Street in the Sheraden neighborhood for a reported stabbing victim.
Upon arrival, first responders located an adult female victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds to the upper body. Preliminary information indicates the incident occurred on Stadium Street, and the victim was transported by private means to the alternate location.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
No actor has been identified at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing.
