Operation Weed and Seed

The City of Pittsburgh has a strong, active block watch network including over 75 block watches that develop public safety strategies and support the work of public safety officials. Mayor's Youth Council
The Mayor's Youth Council was established in 2006 to involve youths in decision-making processes in the City of Pittsburgh. They also engage in community service activities throughout the year including community cleanups, toy drives, and the creation of summer activity guides for young people.
