(PITTSBURGH) June 29, 2012   The City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works announced today that there will be no bulk waste or recycling collection on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in observance of Independence Day.

Residents whose pickup falls on Wednesday will be serviced on Thursday, July 5th.  This will continue through the end of the week with Friday’s normally scheduled collection being picked up on Saturday, July 7th.
