Veolia and PWSA release Key Performance Indicators for partnership

In its November 2012 board meeting, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority approved proposed "key performance indicators" that will serve as the criteria by which the interim management firm, Veolia Water North America will be evaluated during its 12 month contract to steer the Authority. The key performance indicators (KPIs) are measurable criteria that will allow for objective evaluation of Veolia's effectiveness in recommendations and improvements in a variety of areas of the Authority, including customer service, communications, financial sustainability, and day-to-day operations.

On July 12, 2012, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority Board unanimously approved Veolia Water to provide Interim Executive Management services to PWSA. The partnership will last 12 months, and will consist of Veolia providing executive Jim Good to act as Interim Executive Manager, temporarily filling PWSA’s 20-month Executive Director vacancy.
