It is a pleasure to inform you that the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency Board of Directors have recently approved tax credits for a number of City projects, including the Addison development project in the Hill District neighborhood of District 6. The upcoming development project for the former Addison public housing area will be a great improvement to the Greater Hill District community, and hopefully increase the quality of life for all who live in the neighborhood. Minority-owned company KBK Enterprises has been chosen as the lead developer to help revitalizate this area.
A special thanks to Governor Corbett's administration, Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, PHFA staff and Board, as well as the staff and Board at the Urban Redevelopment Authority for the efforts put forward to make this approval process go through smoothly. Please contact my office at 412-255-2134 should you have any further questions about the upcoming Addison development project.
