Income Tax Deadlines Approaching: Be Prepared

Every April brings the inevitable – tax season. This email provides a comprehensive overview regarding deadlines, forms, and tax preparation assistance for the 2011 PGH-40 Individual Income Tax Return. As you receive this information, take a moment to share the message with others so that no one misses out on filing their tax return.

For the 2011 tax season, all income tax forms are due on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. If you need an extension for the paperwork, you must submit Federal Form 4868 by Sunday, April 15, 2012. Contact Jordan Tax Services at 412-345-7966 for information regarding this process.

This year, Jordan Tax Service, Inc. (JTS) was selected to by Allegheny County to collect the Earned Income Tax for the Allegheny County Central Tax Collection District. The 2011 PGH-40 form was sent in the mail along with a PIN number, but it is also available on the Jordan Tax Service website here. The website also provides instructions on filling out the forms, which can be found here. Jordan Tax Service has an office across from the Allegheny County Courthouse where you can ask questions, file, or drop off your 2011 PGH-40 tax return, so call 412-345-7966 for more information.

If you need assistance in filling out your PGH-40 Income Tax Return by April 17th, you may qualify for free services.
