Conducted by the Department of City Planning and its consultants, these final public meetings will educate residents about the findings of the draft plan, inform them of how they can use the plan to help create change in their neighborhoods, and obtain feedback as how to best set priorities for open space programs in the various sections of the City.
The public comment period for the draft of OPENSPACEPGH will be open from May 1 to June 1. The document can be accessed and commented on at the PLANPGH Exchange (http://exchange.planpgh.com)--paper copies of the Plan are also available at all Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh locations. This public comment period will give residents the opportunity to directly review OPENSPACEPGH and comment on the recommendations and findings of the plan.
