MOVEPGH Project Prioritization

Greetings!  We are pleased to announce the online availability of the complete MOVEPGH project list for the City of Pittsburgh.

We have gathered into a single map all the proposed transportation projects we could find in the City of Pittsburgh.  These projects came from planning documents that communities have already completed, or from MOVEPGH community forums--we just need your help to sort them out so that they're implemented in the right sequence over the next 25 years.  In order to get the conversation started, we've scored and ranked these projects based on transportation modeling software that's been geared to Pittsburgh's unique needs by the MOVEPGH consultant team.  While high-tech computer modeling is a great way to make understanding transportation needs more efficient, it lacks the human element--this is where you come in.

We need you to tell us what we got right, and what we didn't.  Sometimes computer models miss the nuances of a neighborhood or a street in a way that only neighborhood residents can understand.  Please visit the MOVEPGH website at to locate projects, see how they ranked, and most importantly, to provide your input!

We'll be taking your comments through the end of February.
