Thousands of racers – including 24 “Perfect Great Racers” – took to the streets of Pittsburgh on Sunday for the 35th running of the Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race.
These 24 men have participated in – and finished – every Great Race, starting back on Sept. 25, 1977.
Top finishers from this group of 24 “Perfect Great Racers” were Bob Costello (44:41), Marty Klanchar (44:58), Dick Monheim (46:15), Wayne Jacobs (48:11), Ronald Hannan (50:01), Don Slusser (50:19) and Tom Abbott (50:23).
